I bought a 2x24w PC retro to add to my existing canopy and wanted to add a 3" fan. It already has one 3" fan connected to a 12v power source. My question is; can I splice the new fan into the same power source, or do I have to get a seperate one for the new fan?

Each fan will have a black wire and a red wire, connect the blacks to the blacks and the reds to the reds, then connect them to the corresponding wires from the power supply. If the PS has only black wires, then its not polarity specific and it doesnt matter which goes where. Put your hardhat on before fliping the switch... lol

Oh, and if you are trying a DIY Tunze with those fans, let your GF flip the switch :lol
