I'm looking at getting the 395gal tank just up for sale or something similar.
any advice on placement would be great. I was thinking about setting it on a 36" stand in the garage and make a 10' x 3' window in the living room wall. has any one done this and found out that it wasn't a good idea? any info would be apreciated. I was also thinking a cool water fall coming from the
base of the tank into a nice indoor fountain type setup would be cool ( fresh water to keep the smell down) what would you think about heat / cool changing since the garage doesnt have ducting, maybe i can build a floating wall around it like i did on the inside. by the way i plan on stacking a 125 reef that i have now on top of the 400 gal. and run two sumps, one 45g and one 100g for the 400 since i plan on keeping either a bonnethead or a sharpnose.
any input please.
attached is a pic i took when i first put my tank together, before all the coral and fish from the smaller tank were added. now there is tons of stuff in it. the wife did not like the drywall mess from cutting the access holes though.

from everything i have heard and read sharks need LOTS of room and more if a round tank. i may be wrong but i am sure someone else will help out. keep in mind a 3 foot shark is used to acers of swimming room.

i had planned on constructing a much bigger tank for the shark/ in the neiborhood of 1500+ gal when it grows to about 24" but mostly out of concrete with glass windows instead of all glass, like the tank it will be in until anything bigger is complete. i know that these types of sharks will take at least two years until it will need the bigger tank. that's why i need one as small as 9- 12 inches. i plan on being into the shark thing for the lond haul, after all i've been doing saltwater tanks since 1994 moving them from duty station to duty station, and now i bought a house and plan on getting out of the military here in san antonio tx.
one plus about the house i bought, it has been leveled with 47 giant peirs and the gap underneth filled with concrete so no need to worry about all the weight being centralized in one spot.

YES THATS TRUE, BUT WITH A 20,000 DOLLAR PRICE TAG. IT BETTER BE LIFETIME (OR UNTIL THE COMPANY GOES UNDER)
