Okay, I've finally got my tank cycled with some great rock thanks to SM2. I've added in some a few inverts for algae control and have added 1-2 fish.

I noticed the other day that there are a done of little whitish specks on the glass. They are maybe 1-2mm in size, and you really can't even see them unless you are looking in the tank from an angle. If you get up real close I can tell that they seem to be stuck to the glass by one part and kind of waving in the current.

Does anyone have any idea what these things are? And are they harmful? And of course how do I get rid of the buggers?

Checked out that site, I don't think it's flatworms. I tried taking a picture when I got in from work, but these things are so small, and pretty much transparent that they don't show up on the camera.

The worst thing is I noticed whatever it is in my freshwater tank during feeding today. The best way to describe what they look like is really fine very short (1-2mm at the most) pieces of clothe or papertowel material stuck on something and being waved around by the currents (they are definitely not moving on their own volition). I'm not even really sure if this stuff is alive or not. I may use my glass magnets on them and see if they come back.

thanks for the help!
