For those that did submit your name to help on the board.
The original (http://www.maast.org/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=14829&sta rt=0) post was posted for all members to apply and vote for 2 officers and 5 bod's making it 10 with the 5 remaining well I have decided to quit and we were already missing 1 bod so that now leaves 2 openings on the board for anyone interested that put their name in.
The board was looking to down size a bit, but that was never posted prior to the elections and I just wanted to make sure all is fair.
I beleive the next 2 in line were:

falcondob

Sorry folks, I sent Carl a PM .. really I did!!
The BOD vote was for 5 new members, which we filled in the election. Our By-Laws require us to operate with "At Least" 4 members, and "No more than" 12. That is President, Vice President, and 2-10 other BOD members.
Last year we had some BOD member turnover and did lot's of assignment of interims. BOD discussions have been to set a "Low Water Mark" of BODs before we assign interims - discussions have been that this minimum would be in the 6-8 range. This is a discussion the BOD needs to finalize - the goal is to maintain some consistency.
Carl & John (and all others that ran) - your interest is greatly appreciated!
If you want to contribute more immediately, our Education and Meetings committee's could use some help ;)
