Go buy a temp gauge. The digital one are ~$10, and the stick on ones are ~$1 at Wal-mart.

****!
Thermometer. n . ther·mom·e·ter: An instrument for measuring temperature, especially one having a graduated glass tube with a bulb containing a liquid, typically mercury or colored alcohol, that expands and rises in the tube as the temperature increases.
I wouldnt recommend the stick on ones as they misread the actual temperature of the water. Your best bet is a digital one or a floating one.

I keep my tanks at 80 degrees, and use the floaters :)

When I stick my hand in my tank, it feels like there's twice as much hydrogen as oxygen. Is that normal?!? :unsure
(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)
