Thanks.. The left side is pretty empty, only the anemone and a few frags live on that side. As soon as i set the Ca. reactor, im gonna STUFF the tank with corals..so by the time i come back from Mexico, ill notice all the growth (if any)..The pics are VERY crappy, the tank looks really cool in person (specially since i did a waterchange a few days ago, so everything is crystal clear), the pictures were taken with a 2.0 MP camera, and its been dropped a few times so..they suck..

Looking Good!!!! I need a CA reactor too, but for now using petes method of waterchanges everyweek it seems to be working and this is only the third week. :D

Looking good Diego! Hey, if you are going out of town for any length of time, I would hold off on firing up that Ca reactor. They can be touchy until you get used to how it works with your particular tank. Way too easy to drive PH down, or dKH up if it isn't balanced out.

Thanks Steve.. Well, i will probably be gone for 2-3 days, not long..Im not very strict with the B-Ionic, but when i was, i noticed my purple rim cap grow like mad..so, with everything on a balance, im hoping to see rapid growth on everything..

Do you drip Kalk?
My experience with a Ca Reactor is that they don't keep up with Ca demand unless you crank them WAY up, which causes other problems. I dial mine in mostly to maintain the dKH level, then drip Kalk to drive Ca and maintain PH. I still end up dosing Turbo Calcium on a regular basis too!

But that's a HUGE Ca reactor and may be completely different on your 125? The Ca, dKH, PH puzzle is a balance that takes awhile to get the hang of, and every system is different ... I'm still fiddling with mine now & then!

I think its gonna do a great job on my tank..Your system is HUGE, mine is only about 175 total water volume. Ill probably hold on for corals after new years and after seeing the reactor working, im still deciding on what to do..but after thats done..corals gallore!..acros and caps and...and... :wacko 8) :lol

Awesome Diego, great job. I cant wait to setup mine. It will be setup next weekend. Just like you, I cant wait. I have been tankless for like about 5 months. I am just giving my tank about a couple of months and it will be sps gallore as well. I want to stock the upper portion with acros and the middle and lower portion with caps. I will hold off on the 75 and set the 29 up so it wont take long to have it stocked. Do you plan to stock yours with frags or colonies?

Hey, I also wanted to ask what lighting you were using. I like that bluish tint.

When you get the Ca reactor you'll get your alk and Ca perfect for awhile but eventually it won't keep up with the Calcium demand if you get a bunch of sps growing well. They really should be called dKH reactors since that is what they are best at. So be prepared to add a kalk reactor down the road.

Also keep in mind that you may have to supplement other minerals as well. Magnesium and Strontium for example.

Thanks guys for the advice!..Yeah, im thinking of a kalk reactor. Ive been adding iodine, but not magnesium or strontium.. :unsure Since i really dont have alot of corals in my tank right now.

G- Im just gonna go with colonies and stuff my little prop. "tank" with frags. The only corals im gonna keep in my tank are my pink stylophora, my purple rim cap, an orange cap frag i got from Pete, and another one who's name i dont know That Krystynn got for my birthday..lol..(ill look it up)..
