I have a frag of the PM and was tan/brown when I got it, but the polyps are bright green. I want to see some shots of other peoples PMs to compare/verify if mine is indeed the PM. So, lets see some pics guys! It would also be nice to see some that have lost the purple and are coloring up again.

That all depends on what you bought. There are many nice different acros people call "Purple Monster" I had one that came from Tim Marvin that was very purple with green polyps. I also have the Steve Tyree Purple Monster that is not quite as purple but has white polyps. In my opinion the coral with green polyps is better looking it also grows a little faster and is more common. Either way you have a very nice acro.

I always thought the PM was the one with the green polyps. Maybe that is the most common or most desired.

purple monster = white polyps
purple bonsai = green polyps

(or so I have heard.)

OK, I like the purple bonsai better then. I like the contrast of the green polyps on the purple flesh. OK who has a frag they want to give up. ;)

This is one coral that does not like temp swings ...
