My anemone is scaring me.....

I never seen them do this before because they usually recluse when I feed them....is this normal or should I be worried????


He was find and bubbly and looing great this morning. I feed im a little salid shrimp, he took it and did like he usually does.

Now it looks like when a star fish eats and it looks like his stomach is out of his mouth and around the shrimp but it is outside his mouth.

He is still bubbly and has actually moved since I noticed this, but wanted everyone's opinion!

Should I start crying?

well I think he is ok..... he looks noraml again and he has already moved again, ...................Lets hope!

anemones do purge from time to time, looks like they threw up their guts, then they suckem back in, fill up with water and look beautiful agani.

Ya....never had one in a nano before so not used to getting this close up of a view of everything LOL


He seems to be fine now! (lets hope)

As long as you dont see any white "spaghetti" spewing from its gut, it should be ok. Sometimes they look nasty right before a split also so keep an eye on it.

if it's in a nano I would do a water change.
