I have a 12 gallon nano cube and my fan has died. I have tried to find a replacement but most fans are too big. The fan is sqaure with approx 2.25'' sides (I'm not exactly sure because the corners are chipped). Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

I know its not the answer that you want to hear ( :) ) but you can contact JBJ through their website ( www.jbjlighting.com ). I had to contact them once and they replied by the next day. I am more than certain they would be able to direct in the appropriate direction.

are you in san antonio?

I can't gurantee they will have anything, but ATEX electronics over off of isom carries a variety of fans..

I would get a replacement fromt he manufacturer though, hopefully they are sealed better than a cheap fan would be against the elements of a salt water tank.

ATEX is no longer located off of Isom road. They moved to Broadway. Outside Loop 410 opposite side of the Post Office in that general area.

Are the fans sold by ATEX computer fans? If they are computer fans, don't they run off of a lower wattage (3-4 watts)? I think I remember seeing somewhere that the NC runs about 12 watts through their fans.

The reason I ask this is because I want to change out my NC fans to a higher CFM fan but I know nothing about electricity.

There is also an Altex of 281 and Bitters on the left side heading out of town just past Bitters.

altex sells all sizes of fans, from 110volt to 12 volt DC. if you take in the old fan, they can probably find you a fan that works.
