These were only used for at most 2 months of little use. I ended up switching to plant rated bulbs in my freshwater tank. Both bulbs are HQI 175 watt and 20,000K. I am in South Austin but since they are small would be willing to ship for $5 or meet locally. Hate to see these just sit around. $20 each OBO.

can these run off a standard magnetic ballast?

These are the double ended bulbs. You may need to check the specs of your ballasts to see which ones they will support. The ballast that I ran these on was magnetic but would hate to tell you yes and be wrong. :)
