Well, this idea is finally getting close to my goal. Long ago I bought a BUNCH of Zoa frags from Fin-Addict - Felipe spent a long time collecting a variety for me. I have added many since, and growth has finally filled in most of the gaps to complete my "Zoa mosaic garden" ... I like it :D

How often do you have to mow?

Is there no zoa v zoa aggression? How about with the other corals in the tank? Any kind of chemical warfare going on that is problematic? Very nice looking!

Nope, no Zoa vs. Zoa problems, and these are in a larger tank.
Now mowing yet Steve, but I expect that problem is in my future.

Where do you guys get all these awesome zoos? Well besides Fin-Addict. Any online vendors?

95% Fin-Addict, 5% Local trades & Frags ... never bought a Zoa on-line.
If you catch Felipe there on a not-so-busy day, he can spend time getting you some nice ones!

I live in McAllen, 4 hours away. Felipe has given me awesome customer service when I have been up there. During the last meeting we had there, we asked about some corals. Felipe didnt want to sell us certain corals because he said the San Antonio folks had priority, and I defianately do understand. I knew it was nothing personal, it was strictly business. As far as customer service, no other LFS can possibly beat it. He sent Sara to HEB to buy us some gel glue because we didnt have any and we were going to arrive late when we got home. I hope next time I go he can hook me up as well. I am planning a special trip to San Antonio and I am calling Felipe beforehand so he can expect me. i will be going just to go buy awesome sps and zoo frags. We dont get zoos over here, just button polyps. One store has a browned out 1 inch acro frag for $79.99. Its pathetic.

I hear you man. i want to move to san antonio but maybe in like two years. I have to shine at my job and gain some experience to go make a living over there first. I need some sort of job security before I can move. I only got my series 7 license to go and some more experience and I am off to san antonio.

A few shots of the Zoas under actinics. Not great pics, but the best actinic shots I have ever had turn out. Really brings the colors out :D
