What does the inside of a becket skimmer box look like?

Just curious whats in there and/or how the water/foam goes through the skimmer?

Does anyone have drawing or plans for making one?

There are many on reefcentral and/or reefs.org. Inside the boxes of my skimmers is some plumbing to send the foamy water up in the tube, and a big elbow so that water from the very bottom of the box is what goes out the gate valve. That's to reduce bubbles in the output.

Im just trying to get a basic idea of whats supposed to happen in there.

I guess I'll log onto RC, never really liked that place though...
