What and Why?

Do I just leave it or let it grow?
I have cut them all off once but they grown back.

Its sponge..seems like your zoos havent been in direct light in a while..lol. Cut all the sponge off and put them where the light hits the zoos.

It has been there since the day I got it (over 6 mo's ago) and it looks like it is part of the zoo.
Currently it sits at one of the highest spots in the tank, maybe 6-7" from the lights.

OK I have cleaned/removed 90% or more of it off. Will this need to be done every so often or? I cannot remove and dip it because I have 3 other zoo's on the same rock which is to large to get out unless I remove my hood.

Just curious, did the zooanthids seem to be ailing with the sponge growing on them? Some sponges and zooanthids co-exist in nature.

They were as happy as could be, they spread like crazy and never showed any negative signs. I only asked because I thought it was feelers and needed to have something next to it so it could spread not because I thought it was bad.
