Hey all

This has been slowly growing in my tank since I set it up. I want to say it is a sponge but I am not sure. It has small holes/tubes but not much more than that.

Thanks for the help. :)

Your more than welcome to come over for a visit. You can meet the Mrs. and see the cat hide, lol!

BTW I got a bunch of atapsia in my tank too. I'm thinking of doing specimen tank! :lol I guess that is besides the point.

Any new revelations with the tank-in-progress?

That particular sponge is growing in an odd place towards the back. I think I need to get a black light and make this puppy glow.

Matt

Sounds good. I'm kinda busy on Saturday (helping a friend move) so give me a call on Sunday!

Nah, they grow where there is no light..you dont necessarily need to feed pytho, it will grow anyways..very cool, hardy sponge..

Maybe we should get together and write a book. "How to make everything you don't want, flourish in the marine aqauria." lol

LOL, i can think of a couple of experts on that, LOL..i dont think writing that book would be a problem. Sponge is good though, it means your tank is healthy and thriving.

Hey Reef69

Off topic here but... Why is it when you posted a quote it said "cbianco wrote:" at the top and my quote only said "Quote?" Did you type that in manually or did I do something different?

cbianco do you use the quote button to the top right of the post? If not then that should. That is what I do and it works for me. HTH

AH, I didn't notice that one (even though I have been posting forever). I ususally use the one at the bottom of the page by the text box. lol

Now I know!
