i usually keep mine at 1.023. some people here keep thiers as high as 1.026.

Yeah thats a great book. Lots of good reading and photos for a newbie in saltwater to read about.

yea but im also broke. im stuck with what i have until i get another job. so you guys will have to do the reading for me, heh heh. im just playing, if you know a good newbie site that i could check out then that would be pretty cool too. thanks Hobo

if you are going to change your salinity, do it slowly over a couple of days!

.020 is ok for a fish only tank, some even go as low as .019, but for a reef tank you want to be in the .024 - .026 range.

Agreed. I always keep my reef tank at 1.024.

I sit at about 1.021 in my reef tank. No problems but I will have to look into the salinty info.
I 2nd pilot in saying that www.webwetmedia.com is awsome! I use it all of the time.
