starfish?

i just found this tiny starfish thing on my substrate. Is there anything to worry about?? Ia there such thing as a bad starfish or is this ok? he has a round base with 6 skinny legs. i can take a picture if anyone wants to see what it looks like.

A picture would probably help with the ID.

There are several types of starfish. If you are refering to the tiny (<dime) size starfish then you probably have nothing to worry about. Many people refer to these types of starfish as "micro starfish." Keep in mind that this is obviously not a scientific name only a common name.

Either way we would love to see pictures of your tank!

I would suggest a pic because there are several different types of starfish and some of them can be bad.

I just discovered the harmless starfish tha we bought was a chocolate chip. He munched his way through alot of my stuff before we figured he was thge culpret
