can you over feed your fish? i feed all my fish about 5 times a day. i have one tang, one clown

That is WAY WAY WAY too much food :o Unless you are feeding VERY little at a time. If all the food isn;t gone from the water in 2mins, you are feeding too much.
I feed once a day, and feed Nori 1-2 times a week. How much are you feeding 5x daily?

lol, yea. the food is gone by 2-3 min though. i feed the flakes about 5x and formula II algea once a day.

I agree........
I have a heavily populted 215 tank and feed a small pinch of flake per day..........and just a fittle frozen foon every other day sometimes even a smaller amount daily.
I feed coral a different mixture once a week and the anenomes twice a week.
Clip SMALL patch of Nori 2-3 time a week.
Works for me, and not algea problem.........whatsoever. And fish are FAT and HAPPY!
