I have a six heads of frogspawn on one branch and one is not looking good at all. It is completely withdrawn. There has been some of the frogspawn from that head falling off. Do I need to cut the head off or do I leave it alone and hope whatever caused this doesn’t get the other heads of the frogspawn?

Thanks

I would suggest fraging it (cutting the other head off) you have a better chance of saving the rest of it. Not to sure why this happened to your frogspawn but good luck.

i have heard that if a head of a frogspawn dies the others will live. best bet is to send a pm to someone who woudl know alot more. maybe check the BOD list and send your question to one of them if you dont get an answer

Check with GaryP if he's around. He has or had a huge frogspawn and is very knoledgable on them.

Thanks for all the input. I cut it off. I have done this with a hammer before and it worked well.

Thanks again
