Yep, The crab went to visit Carl's fish. :D What he did not know was Carl was serving "Crab" :o for dinner. It was interesting to watch. I think that I saw another one just like him last night in the tank. If so, he too will be visiting uncle Carl :innocent Thanks carl it was interesting watching the event. We could have put it on Pay per View and made a killing.

Except for DT and Carl saying it was bad, could you give it a proper ID? Since it was so bad, was it bad on the corals, on fish, or did it just look bad in your tank? Thanks for the info, I want to steer clear of this crab possibly getting into my tanks. How could something that size have been a hitchhiker?

When he first hitch-hiked into the tank he wasn't that big. But...when things eat they tend to get bigger. :lol If I had know he was bad I would have sent to to bed without his dinner. :P He seemed to be always nibbling on something at night. Half of my mushrooms are gone. Hey hobogato you are right no pun intended :shades

Silly, I know they grow when they eat. I have an 2 emerald crabs that pick stuff out of the rock crevices at night. Cute rascles.

True. I have about 8 emerald crabs. I like to sit in the dark with the moonlights on and watch them scurry around picking at things. They are really amazing. That's how I found the big guy. Just sitting there and he crawled out and evryone else took off. In the classroom if a student is upset you an sit them down next to the aquarium and they will calm down real quick.
