Hey guys, what's going on? Name's Joseph and i'm gonna be setting up a new reef aquarium. I was just wondering what the experts suggest as far as RO/DI Units?!?!?

Well its actually in the filters and then depends on the add ons you want.

You could try http://www.melevsreef.com/ro_di.html and get a 5 stage for the same price. Do you really need a 5 stage probably not since 0 tds is 0 tds but its lazy people who dont want to chang etheir di out. If you only want a 4 stage try these guys I got mine from their and had no problems http://www.hbwatersystems.com/html/aquarium_filters.html

On Melevs unit it comes with a 5 and 10 micron unit filters. These might be standard, but you would be better off with 1 micron or less!! Will extend the live of the other filters. ;) saving in the long run. It doesnt matter if it has 5-6- or more stages.

Does your water supplier use chlorine or chloramine? If the former, then the unit listed will work great for you. If the latter, then you may need to look else where as this unit is designed only to take chlorine out.
