Its not the greatest picture and I know there are 1000's of these things in my tank, but I just went to check on the kalk drip as I do every night and there are hundreds all ove the rock, sand and glass.

I've got tons of em as well. Some of them are all white like yours and some have black stripes on their......legs?
The other day I noticed that several have grown to the diameter of a pencil eraser.

Same colors here too, but some are as big as dimes.

I have thousands (maybe millions :wacko) of these. What's really neat ... walk into the room late at night and flip on the room lights - the water column is full of these guys riding the currents, Wheeeeeeeeeeeee :D

I think that they were all gathering to see some strang ugly creature with a weird light...they have noticed that it happens around the same time every night..... :lol

Do these only grow with tanks with sand bottoms?? I have noticed a few in my angler tank that has a sand bottom, but none in my reef that has a crushed coral bottom. :wacko

They will do fine in a crushed coral bottom as well, not sure if the nubers would be as great but many of them stay in the rocks during the lights on periods. Tons of little critters in them rocks you never see, snails, pods, worms, stars.

This is a crushed coral bottom. I can see little arms sticking out of the rocks and corals everyday. It was just odd seeing them all over.
