I have only spotted this guy a few times over the last few months. I caught him attacking one of my astreas late last night. As soon I hit the lights he slivers into the rocks. The astrea in the picture was dead after he slivered away.
Can someone tell me what this is and if I need to get him out. Not sure what he eats besides the snails.
Thanks,
Simon

Okay everyone. I still need help finding out what this is.
Its growing fast now. I caught it moving fairly fast last night. It caught another snail. I started to beat it with an algae cleaner and when it finally let go the snail was totally wrapped in a thin white film. I did get another picture of it. I then got my hose and bucket and tried to suction him out. I got two frags in the bucket that were alive and moving. The rest of him got away. Here he is just before he caught the snail.
