I wanted to thank all of you who have so kindly and generously helped me get started. My tank is beautiful, in my eyes, like all new babies I suppose. But it is so nice to have started out with frags which are thriving, with the proper lighting, with clear water.
Thank you for writing back promptly, for sharing frags (Gary, they are growing so fast, you would be proud of your critters), (Mark) for carting rics back from Austin, for Aquadoc's GORGEOUS rics which are already sliding over onto the coral heads (dead) upon which they are perched. Richard and Louis for batting for me and providing invaluable advice at times of emergencies, and for soothing my panic when things look like an emergency but are not... Louis, the rics you sold me are PHENOMENAL, their bubbly tips are branched and so delicate.
I was reading yesterday in the Conscientious Aquarist that local clubs are one of the best resources for beginners. I found you right away with google, and joined within two weeks because the advice, well...the correct advice at the right time... is priceless.
You all prove the fellow who wrote the Conscientious Aquarist true.
