Stopped in to CB Pets yesterday on the way home. Richard and Mark had babied some Copper Banded Butterfly fish for me.--well for several people probably. :)

Barr none, they have the healthiest fish of ANY FISH STORE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. I did not see once single sick or dead fish. Think about that for a moment.

They honor the MAAST chartermember discount.

They have a very nice selection of SPS, LPS, Clams, and softies. Lots of saltwater fish and a GREAT supply of quality hard goods.

As I think about it, I don't think I've ever been in an LFS that carries such top brand hard goods IN STOCK. They have Sequence pumps, tons of quality skimmers, ballasts, bulbs--including the 72" URI's, other pumps etc.

Well worth the trip. My new CBB was eating like a horse and is happy as can be this morning!

They are definitely an A+ operation. I have to go up there today and pick up an Acro I bought a few weeks ago and wasn't able to bring home.

So that's what it is! Richard just labels everything as Acropora sp.

I was going to try to look it up when I got it home.

Yes, I have one-------that's a heck of a lot SMALLER than yours!

I had one small frag and Scuba's been after it for months. He has it now.

That's because I really don't know the different acro species very well and it's too time consuming to try and look them up all the time. One of these days I'll spend some time learning them but for now I'll stick with "Acropora sp.", that way I know I'm right ;) . I think it's better than what the wholesalers do "very colored", "ultra colored". Sometimes they don't mention that the color they are talking about is brown LOL.

Thanks for the kind words Todd. I hope the little guy does well for you.

He's doing great! Some of the fish have come after him and he faces them and raises his spines!
