id help needed

I cant seem to get a picture of this guy but I have a crab that looks exactly like an emerald crab other than it is very dark brown or black. It has the same "flat" pinchers as the emerald and is smooth (not hairy) everywhere but the legs just like the emerald.

It just showed up a month or so ago and pops out every once in a while to say hi. I havent seen him doing any harm, but that doesnt mean hes not evil

got any ideas or research links?

Could be a Mythrax, they come in other flavors besides green, Ive seen red and brown.
