How many gallons of fuge should you have for evey gallon of tank? Iam sure bio-load has alot to do with it but in general.
just wondering :unsure

Most seem to run about 30%.
Bigger is better.

Blakes old system probably came close between the two seperate fuges. I believe he had one setup as a xenia fuge and one setup as a standard macro fuge, then of course his frag prop tank.
Todd bought that system but not sure if he set it up the same or not.

i have a 55 gallon tank with a 30 gallon fuge/sump :)

I have heard of systems that pump directly from the ocean and once through. Would the Pacific Ocean count as a fuge in that system?

I have a 215 with a 135 fuge and 135 sump..............make it as big as you can..............more water volume equals stability......

Yeah I think I will be putting a bigger fuge in I had a 20g long just sitting their that is drilled so this will double the fuge size. Plus my angler tank acts as one with all the Xenia in it.
