What do you look for in a lfs?

What is it that keeps you going back to your favorite lfs? Do you ever travel to other lfs in your area or do stay faithful to the same lfs?

Depends on what I'm looking for....

Live stock or equipment/supl/etc.....

I'm looking for good quality at a good price, no loyality............just a consumer.

If I buy livestock, then I go to one place and if I buy hardware then I go to another. I've been to every store in Austin is feel like.........just depends on what I'm looking for. I usually try to find it on MAAST or with MAAST members first like Polkster, Pete, Tim, etc......depending again on what I'm looking for! LOL

i used to look for employees( or owners) that were knowledgeable, and honest. now i just get my information from a more reliable source(MAAST, books, WWM) and look for a store with healthy livestock, and clean tanks.oh, and of course fair prices.

I go to whoever has what im looking for. I dont rely on their knowledge because thats what books are for, plus i dont think half the employees care if whatever they are selling to you lives or not, so they will tell you whatever you want to hear. I go for cool corals, and prices..no loyalty.
