Anyone know what it is? It has been alive and growing for a while now, some sort of hitchhiker, it has a tube and lives under a rock in the mostly shaded area. Never seen it eat and no unexplained deaths but it is getting bigger, currently the disc part is as big (if not bigger) as a quarter.

from what i understand zoos, zoas....whatever they're called......are pretty dang hardy and almost impossible to kill. you can have crappy water conditions and poor lighting....but i'm no expert and have not conducted any field tests....yet.

Does it have "bulbs" at the end of the tentacles? Majano Anemone, but hard to see from here :P

Me too but this is short and fat looking like a sand anemone, not aptasia.

Yes, looks like some type of anemone not a zooanthid.

Reminds me of a majano, I have several of them in my tank and I love them. Ack, quit trying to hit me! I really do like them!
