these boys can get big too. i saw one in houston last year that was the size of a basket ball. he was in a 90gal. tank and it look to small for him. :o

They grow like crazy, I used to feed mine live feeders. I loved watching him eat. That is a very nice pic. Do you have all aggressive fish in your tank?

man cool picture! Lions are by far my favorite fish. I have had mine for some time and boy he has grown alot and grown fast. Awesome to watch him eat. When I am in the room he begs like a dog to be fed. Here is picture of mine

Thats So TRUE ~ they have these instincts just like dogs.. mine perch on each side of the statue and look like the gate-keepers" of the tank....
~Hey Christina/Brian ~ I've done you proud dears 8) You need to come take a look at your babies they AIN'T babies no more!! MAN they have grown.... they are soo peaceful and such well behaved Lions I have no problem reaching in and moving stuff around in there. They are upgrading soon to their very own "penthouse" (my 75g) just for them alone...

I have always loved lion fish ever since I was little and seeing them at the stores. I bought one a while back but he didnt even last over night and died. Thinking about getting another and putting him with my angler.

I always loved it when mine would stand on its head next to the heater trying to look like a plant and then a feeder fish would come by or a shimp and ......WAMMMMMM it was gone!
I loved my lion.....and my moray..........awesome fish!!!!!!!!

I prob wont but they keep them together all the time at Texas Tropical and have had no problems.

Here is my lion on the hunt. Got him from Texas Tropicals several months ago. He grew pretty quick.
