View Full Version : what should i get or do to my new 100 gallon

well i am new to dealing with anything above a 20gallon :wacko and i just got a 100 gallon with protien skimmer and a sump with the pumps and an over flow it is also drilled in the back for a closed loop and it came with 4 95watt high compacts. so how would i go about setting it up :blink any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Did your 20s contain salt or fresh?
Start with....
Read, read, read, read, read, read, read...................and then....read. LOL

Also as the others have stated read and read some more. I too will extend my hand if you are local to san antonio as well. And if not I can try to help by phone, email, pm's. I would first decide if you want to go fish only, soft corals or hard corals or some mixture. We are all willing to help. Give us an idea of what you would like to do and we will give you some feedback.

oh the 20 gallons are salt and i have a 2 gallon frag tank. but i was wanting to do sps and lsp with clams

Do the same thing you did with your 20g, just in appropriate proportions. :)
