It has been a while (2-3 months?) since I restarted my tank using the plenum system. I know it has not been a year yet (when people say they crash) but so far here are my results.

My precious hair algae is almost non existent (what am I doing wrong?). My macro algae seems to be ever so slowly regressing :( and coralline algae seems to be out of control. There is corralline algae everywhere, even on my pumps and it is spotted all over the back of my tank. My snails are all running around with coralline on the shells, my live rock is getting changed over from purple coralline to pink coralline. Even one of my corals is starting to get coralline on it (the calcium carbonate part of a meat coral)!

My corals are doing great, my blue mushrooms have almost doubled in number, my zoos are about twice as large as they were in my old tank, my heliofungia is teetering on the edge of dying (clownfish keep bashing it to make its tentacles expand), and Xenia started growing out of nowhere as is growing and spreading fast. My apitasia are happy now that my copper banded is dead. :(

My cleaner wrasse, algae blenny, and two clownfish are doing good also. My algae blenny constantly has a overstuffed belly :lol

So far then I am loving the plenum system and think it is great, now that has me wondering how a nano plenum would do...
