Ok, I have three LPS/Softie pieces that I need to do something about before they need to start paying rent :P I would like any advice on how do do this successfully. If anyone is interested in pieces of these, send me a PM.
The tongue coral has grown at an alarming rate, I can move it into a larger spot, or try to cut it in half :o I assume a dremel cut from side-to-side and a good whack with a chisel will give me two nice pieces, but I have never fragged anything like this and am unsure on the procedure :unsure
The pipe organ was originally baseball size, now almost volleyball size and needs to be "down sized" ;) I am thinking I will take it out and place on a hard surface, and literally "slice" it into 4 pieces :o Can I also remove any of the old skeleton surface underneath to make it "smaller".
The yellow leather is BIG (10"-12" across) and I cannot "remove" it from the rock anymore. Thinking I can reach in with a razor and whack off large pieces?
What released toxins do I need to worry about, esp with the leather?
Any advice would be appreciated ... I need to go sharpen my tools now :roll
