ID please

When I got home last night I found something on my glass that looks like a snail without a shell? Any idea what it could be? Is it harmful? It does not appear to have any "parts" like a snail, it is just a flat slimy thing on my glass. thanks

Almost impossible to say without a decent pic, possibly a Stomatela snail or some type of flatworm.
