Both of those are XM10K bulbs. The one on the left is much more yellow than the one on the right. No actinic yet, waiting for the bulbs to get in.

Looks like you are off to a good start Cliff. I have a feeling though on the XM lamps that you just got a bad one. I've heard about XM bulbs not firing properly/coloring up like they should. If possible I'd look into having XM replace it.

It was a used bulb I got a long time ago, just been sitting around waiting to be used. I think they were supposed to be about 3 to 4 months old, at least I think that's what JimD said. Sorry if I got the person wrong but it has been a long time waiting in a box.

Well, all that got me to wondering and thinking. I switched the bulbs around from one side to the other to make sure the new ballasts weren't the problem either. Now both are shinning closer to the same color.

Maybe it's the old nipple placement. :o
