Josh, Im interested in a 250 watter, question, with all the problems associated with these bulbs being inconsistant in their coloration, what, if any, exchange policy is avilable? Ive already had to exchange two for this very reason... Also, can you get a 15" mogal reflector for a decent price?

i hate to do this but i'm going to have to back out of my order for the 2-400w 10k. i have three on my tank now with 2 -6ft attinic and the tank still looks to yellow. i'm going to try 3 -15k 400. i don't think you have any orders for that so it would take forever to drum up 12 before you could put the order. sorry guys :(

Dan, imo/e two 6' actinics for three 400w 10k xms isnt nearly enough actinic to compensate for the yellow, Id suggest a minimum of two/three per halide, youd need like six/nine six footers to make it look really nice, I run three 3 footers with a single 250, its just right and I dont have to give up an par... Just thinkin out loud here.

I don't know if your ballast will run two more or not but I have two brand new 72 inch URI super actinics and brand new endcaps for sale. If you wanted to try them out and see I can let you borrow them, if you decidec you wanted to keep them I'd make you a great deal.

I had the exact same thing happen on Friday. I had a ballast that was supposed to be in from hellolights and it never showed up. I had the same message and it came in yesterday, seems like they are having delivery problems at UPS.

Maybe it's their way of saying we can't afford the dang gas to get it to you today. :o

Does anybody know how long the burn time is on a new bulb, till the bulb shows its true color?

Just seems really yellow even with the VHO's I had a 20k in there before and it was the way on the blue side.
