I have a couple o'cleaner scrimp and they have both been producing alot of eggs. they keep 'em under their tail and occasionally fan them with their little legs back there. has anyone else experienced this? are my fish most likely eating the eggs when they let them loose?

We have a couple of cleaners that do the same...it's great! Provides fresh food for the corals AND fish. I was so excited the first time I saw them doing this! I noticed the fish dashing around the tank eating these tiny almost microscopic things, THEN I saw the shrimp flicking the babies off their tail/midsection. Pretty cool to watch, huh? :D

One of my peppermints had been pregnant for the longest time. Just yesterday I was looking at my tank and thought, "Why are my clownfish so fat?" Looked around and sure enough, the peppermint was unpregnant. Let me tell you, those were some fat, happy clownfish!
