Has anyone ever tried one of these or know anybody that has one? I have only seen them for sale at fostersmith.com place and just curious if they actually work?

Looks way too complicated. All those valves and tubes...regulating it must be a PITA.

plus the weight of the pump on both of the tubes doesn't seem like a good idea. Given the corrosion factors of saltwater. It makes pvc brittle after a while. you go to move it or something of that nature and it might break. That would suck
Filters, skimmers, etc are suppost to make reefkeeping easier to do, but that doesn;t look like it would make it any easier on you.

I'm sure they work, they would sell many if they didn't. For that much money though you could get one of Pete's OTR skimmers bigger in size.

Interesting ... I wouldn't buy one, but I would like to see one in action!
