My RO / DI unit did not come with an outoshut off.
Can you guys recomend a really good one.......
I want it where the water stays on all the time to the RO/Di unit and it runs only when the float valve says the resovoir is low.
I want to use it to top off the top off tank, with a float valve.
Please advise.

I use This Kent Shutoff (http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=KENT-AUTO&Category_Code=kentroac). Works great, but build in some type of emergency overflow into your resovoir ... eventually all float valves will fail!
[edit] I think this only works on 60gpd and lower RO/DIs?

I got the one Premium Aquatics sells. They put it on the Spectrapure systems if you request it. Worked great

I used one from AirWaterIce and it worked for about 1 week before it wouldn't shutoff any longer. They sent me another and it did the same thing. Really not a lot to them, they work on a diaphram system from back pressure once a tank is full or float valve shutoff. I manually closed off the tank and the thing still ran (waste water) constantly, this should be an automatic shutoff of the valve diaphram.

If you have problems, commonly its caused by a faulty check valve rather than the ASO valve itself.
