It's time for me to replace my 400w mogul 20k halides. I've been using xm20k's but was thinking of getting the coralvue 20k's. Is anyone using these and how do they compare to the xm20k bulbs?

I ran 4 DE 250w on my 240. On the ARO ballast the light was SO yellow. I was told thats because they were designed to run on the Coralvue ballast. The company did graciously take them back. I went with XDE, the color was much better. I am debating on trying the Phoenix 14k bulb though, I have heard good things.

Im running 2x coralvue 400w 14k moguls on my 380 and I love them (just replaced them). I am going to add my t5's (2 actinic, 2 50/50's) finally mostly just to brighten the space between my 2 bulbs.

I'm running the 10K's and love them. I have one DE 400 20K running, but prefer the 10K's with actinic T-5's.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to stick with the xm20k's. I've been running 2 coralvue 14k's and 2 xm20k's. I think the coralvue 20k's are a less blue light than the xm's.
