Could you explain what you mean by that? I don't understand what you mean by "vent the carbon."

Pop-eye is usually a bacterial infection due to stress (usually environmental factors); air bubbles in the gills have nothing to do with this ailment.
Gary, I think he is referring to carbon dioxide and not GAC.
