I recently purchased an extremly health copper banded butterfly from Alex. He had just recieved this gorgeous fish when I purchased it so I did not have the opportunity to buy one that was eating.
I sent a PM to Instar (Larry the Berghia guy) and he broke it down for me on how I should get this fish to start eating. I followed his instructions and the first two days the fish was scared of me and everything except its own reflection in the glass (which it attacked :lol ). After 2 days it left the reflection alone but still was not eating. On the third day it was eating frozen mysis and clams! (Live clams can be purchased from HEB, they are called littleneck clams and are sold by the dozen)
I also used vitamin B6 and a generous helping of prayer ^_^
Now I have 2 percula clowns, one algae blenny, one cleaner wrasse, and one copperbanded butterfly. No more fish for my tank :)
