I inquired of Pete to come by my house to reinforce my sub floor for my pier and beam house and even gave a dollar amount that I would pay because he gave me a price I felt was too low.
This morning when Pete showed up with his son and took a look at it numerous times he felt that the existing floor is strong enough to support the tank even though I asked many times of him if he really felt it was enough strength. He constantly felt that it was and did offer to come back after the tank was setup just to check.
Here is the kicker. He could have went ahead and did the work to get the money even if he felt it was not needed but he did not. And did not even ask anything for coming by to take a look except I will give a frag or something in the future when my tank is up and running.
All this is just to state I feel that Pete is an upstanding and honest person that anyone would do worse by using someone else. He just met me yet he went above and beyond to help out another reefer. :)
