If you love the fish it doesn't matter if it has a bum eye. ^_^

I would think that the only reaon not to is if there are dominant fish in your tank that will try to defend their territory. The new addition would be blind to attack from that side, maybe even damage from learning the tank rockscape.

other than that I cant imagine that it would be any problem

well i myself had a fish that had the same deal.blind in one eye, kinda whitish.it was a coral beauty.we called him one eyed jack.was my favorite fish.of all time.the dude had no problem whatsoever beyond the fact that when feeding he could only get the food that went past his good eye.other than that,an excellent fish.will always remember him.passed on during a disease outbreak when i decided to mix two tangs.found out that was a bad idea.anyway,my lfs only charged me 10 bux rather than the thirty they charge for cb's.

IMO.....I don't think that I should be a problem if you have seen the fish everyday for 6 months. That is way more time than most poeple spend watching a potential purchase. If it is healthy, eating good, active, etc....then why not.

I wouldn't if I had only been watching or seeing him for a week or so. :lol
