How big a tank do you have? They get pretty big and need a big tank.

I don't think it's a good idea to just generalize and say "one fish per 5G." and so on...these fish all (obviously) grow to different sizes, and/or have different needs as far as space - not only for swimming, but for territorial issues. You should strive to consider the "big picture" - meaning how big is this fish going to get, what are his swimming habits, waste output, etc. Naso tangs get pretty darn big (18+ inches) and they are VERY active swimmers that need lots of room to be happy. Plus, you've got a grouper (is this a Panther?) and most groupers get HUGE...and a puffer too.
We overstocked our 75G at one point (before we moved everything to the 210G) and it is easy to see how much stress is created from doing this. Unhappy fish generally either pace the glass (back and forth constantly - and take my word on this - that behavior also stresses out the other inhabitants) or they hide a lot...then they get sick because their immune system is compromised from the stress. Our Hippo tang had taken to hiding a lot in the 75G over that last month we had them in there...now she is almost constantly out front - swimming and happy in her new spacious digs. Also, we even lost a few fish over the overcrowding scenerio...I would hate for this to happen to you - it sucks - take my word on this one. :(
Anyway, for a 125G I would stay away from the Naso and the Sohal...they are both very active swimmers and need more room than a 125G will provide...*especially* if they are having to share that space with other fish. Out of the tangs you listed in your first post, I would think the Purple tang would be your best option. Were there any others you were considering?
