I've been looking for a replacment for the 28W square pin PC that I have in my JBJ nanu cube. I found this on drs foster and smith:

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=11422&N=2004+113030+2032

its 32W but the ballast I have is for 28W, will it still work? also, when they say 12-3/4", is that the full length with the plastic end and the pins, or just the glass part?

Thanks for the help. :)

Mike, thanks for the link. However, I have a second ballast that uses a square pin. That is the one I was looking to replace the bulb for. I think the standard bulb that comes with it is the 24w straight pin.

Check out http://www.nanocustoms.com/

The guy who runs it is pretty cool, and he specializes in the JBJ nano cube.
