Right now I have a dual 250 watt 6500K setup. There also 4 vhos but I have to send the ballast in to get fixed. So I'd like to have as much daylight vhos as possible but also have more of a blue light color. If I had 20K halides and 4 10k vho's would that still be blue and would the par loss be so much it wouldnt make to much of a difference. I could also get 2 15K halides and 3 10K and 1 actinic. Or pretty much any other way. Which way would turn out the bluest but still have a good par rating?

Id keep the 250 settup but switch to XM 10k's and install four URI super actnic VHO's. Par on the 15k's is a bit on the low side compared to the xm 10k's. Of course, this is only a real issue if youre into sps/clams and such.

Would the 10k's be with 4 actinic be closely the same in par to the 20K's with 4 daylights?

Lightng is a very controversial subject, I strongly suggest you do a little homework.

I have two 400watt 10k XMs over my 75. There is NO blue look about them, just the brightest light you have seen! lol. I run two 110watt actinic VHOs and you can just barely tell that they are on when the halides are turned on.
