I have some coraline algae on the rocks closest to my lights that is turning white....is that good or bad, how do I fix it?

Do you recently change your bulbs or upgrade your lights?

Yeah, I just put in my 72in VHO super actinics. Before that I just had two 250watt 20k MH bulbs.

nah...its probably just because the added lights. Just give it time it will come back once everything is adjusted.

Here are pics of the two rock affected. Like I said, they are the highest rocks in the tank. It looks like white icing.

That's normal compaired to my rocks.

Looks like regular bleaching to me.
