water seeping from somewhere on a glass tank... options... empty and scrape off all sealant and apply new sealer.. or just seal over old sealer?

You will need to scrape all of the old sealer off.
New sealer wont stick to the old stuff.
Sorry, hope its not a big tank.

:( Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I dont think you have any other options.

Maybe somebody has had luck with sealer on sealer, but I am under the impression that it won't work.

for a 100g you might be better off buying a new tank...you can get them at a good price here in SA.

Oh Lord...here we go again! :P This is what happened to me Z4...with a 100 gal. Ended up upgrading to a 180 Brick. We thought we knew where the leak was, but it wasn't...we tried sealing where we thought it was. Ended up having to break down the tank & have it totally resealed. Just took the opportunity to upgrade since we HAD to break it down. Good Luck!
