Some of you may not know what this coral is, but it was considered very rare, and some frag farmers charge as much as $100 for a quarter sized piece. I guess it's being mass aquacultured now. I'm glad because mine had grown the size of my hand, but I recently lost it in my aquarium move. I was given a piece by GARF when I placed an order with them. I had no idea what this little sky blue coral was. it grew really slow but ended up looking sort of like a montipora cap, only smoother with smaller texture. Pretty neat, just wanted to spread the availability of it so nobody else pays way way too much for it.

No kidding, I'm hoping to make an order next week sometime if they're not all gone. Either way it looks like everybody will be able to have this "rare" coral.

That sure looks a lot like something I have, that I was told was a "purple montipora cap." Now it has me wondering.

Its not really flat though, not like my other caps. Its pretty "wrinkly," but not "bumpy" like the pic. I got it from Brett.

The link says its purple, is this the same one as Tyree's limited edition? This one is a true blue, but heck if its the same thing Ill get in on the order. :)
