Anther Leather Problem

Just noticed that one of my leathers has two yellow spots on the stem. Anyone ever seen anything like it and what should I do. thanks

I have gotten them on mine a few times in the past. They may develop an absess on them. I think its bacterial. I just siphon out the "yucky stuff" from the absess and it heals up fairly quickly.

i have had mites eat my leathers before, although this may have been the result of an infected area. placing them in a higher flow area may blow them away.

Ok, thanks. Guess I should have added that I just introduce anothe leather this last weekend. Could there be a little war going on. there on oposite sides of the tank.
